The NABRE is the official translation of the bishops of the United States. The NAB was first published in 1970. The New Testament and Psalms was updated and published in 1987. The NABRE now has revisions of the Old Testament and further revision of the Psalms. (The NABRE New Testament is the  translation used in the readings at Mass.)
